Review:

War Wolf Cometh! This 8 song album was released as a 10" and cassette back in February of 2013. If you let this band slip by you (like I did) then you need to go and check these guys out.
8 songs clocking in at about 17 minutes, it is pure aggression that will pummel you as you reach for your bong or your last swig of beer.  War Wolf will have the punks, metal heads and stoners all rejoicing after hearing this massive release.

Ignorant Species kicks off the album right into overdrive. Its dirty, it’s heavy and will get your blood flowing and have you wanting more, if you’re not dead by the time it ends. What we have here is excellent riffing and blast beats, which make for a slow doom filled ending. Awakened Gaunt, is one of the slower tracks on the album, this one is raw and gives you just enough time to catch your breath until the next track.  Cometh is the standout track on the album for me and is also the longest song at 2:26.  This song is so lethal and addicting that you cant just listen to it once. It is the War Wolf anthem and they have cometh for sure on this track. The hardcore influence on this one and gang vocals will have everyone singing along and tearing the house

With Misanthrope, they bring the aggression and raw power on this track is undeniable. War is waged behind a tight riff that just explodes into oblivion at the end. Chances are you'll be stomping around and getting rowdy for this one.   Did I mention how this album is filled with great riffs? This record will tear you up and spit your bones to the waiting wolves.

Liberation is the shortest track on the album at 45 seconds. It's basically a nice buildup for the final song on the album.  Slain Deity is an excellent track to close out the album and just remind you that War Wolf has arrived and have come to lay waste to whatever is in their path.
